YEAR 2000 NOVEMBER TPI Páginas Amarillas will use the maps of Visual Gis Engineering in its web service Callejerohoy.com One of the principal companies of the advertising sector of Spain, TPI Páginas Amarillas, has decided to sign an agreement with Visual Gis Engineering in order that it provides with its maps and technology its web service Callejerohoy.com. The service that offers Callejerohoy.com allows to find the exact number of a street on the screen of the computer and to locate in the map of every city services as petrol stations, hotels, transports, and parking, as well as to know the right way of the streets. TPI Páginas Amarillas has used for this service the Internet Map Server, VisualMap Internet Server, the solution offered by Visual Gis to publish geographical information on the Internet. ---------- Environment Department and CSIC use VisualMap Professional. The Environment Department of Madrid and the CSIC, acquire VisualMap Professional with the cartography of Madrid, to make a map of noises of the city. ---------- OCTOBER QDQ.com extends its offer of services through Internet using the technological innovation and cartographic quality of Visual Gis Engineering. As it has already done for its paper guides, QDQ has trusted again in the quality and cartographic support of Visual Gis Engineering. Visual Gis Engineering will provide with street planners of 300 Spanish cities the new version on line of the guides QDQ.This version on line of QDQ, as paper ones, appears to compete with TPI Páginas Amarillas, emphasising that both have been praised by the same cartographic services supplier: Visual Gis Engineering.

Visual Gis Engineering has developed a project for Metro of Madrid, applying the technology of its internet map server VisualMap Internet Server for its intranet. ---------- AUGUST The Ayuntamiento de San Sebastián acquires VisualMap Professional and asks to Visual Gis Engineering for the customisation of the application for one of its projects. ---------- JULY The company Global Emotions acquires a license of the internet map server, VisualMap Internet Server, with the cartography of Spain and Portugal, to offer in its web page www.mundomax.com, a service of planning route and the location and information of the points of tourist interest. ---------- MAY Comprarcasa.com, Anuntis.com, Habitania.com and Idealista.com will use the technology of VisualMap Internet Server in its real-estate web pages. The principal real-estate web pages in Spain have signed an agreement with Visual Gis Engineering, a Spanish company leader in solutions based on digital cartography. Thanks to this agreement, using the technology and functionality of VisualMap Internet Server and the wide and updated cartographic base of Visual Gis, they will be able to offer in its web pages the exact location of all the real estate offered by them on the street planners of more than 275 Spanish cities. The functionality of http: // mapas.ozú.es suppose a relevant information for certain clients of bank offices, sanitary services, etc ..., where the graphical presentation on a map allows a direct and rapid access that goes with the employment of its resources ---------- FEBRUARY Mapfre Mutualidad integrates in its "Call Center" with more than 125 users VisualMap Professional OCX. The company has integrated by means of an application in Visual Basic its assistance applications, with the GIS functionality offered by the control OCX. They use the functions of search of cities and calculation of routes and location of its databases of its services of derricks, taxis, hotels, etc. hosted in ORACLE. ---------- Leader S.p.A. launches VisualMap 2000 in Italy. The digital guide VisualMap has a great popularity in Italy, and as in Spain, it was launched a new version by the Italian company Leader S.p.A. ---------- JANUARY Mapfre Seguros Generales, the domestic insurance company, acquires VisualMap Internet Server with 300 cartography to manage its documents. ---------- TLC Edusoft launches in France the new version of the digital guides VisualMap.
The success got with the previous version of VisualMap in France and the launch of the new version of the digital guides VisualMap in Spain, the French company TLC Edusoft, distributor in France of the guides, has desired to launch this new version on the French market and reach the same success obtained with the previous versions.
